3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 oz unsweetened chocolate
1/3 cup unsalted butter
2 large eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup each: chopped nuts, coarsely crushed peppermint candy

Heat oven to 350. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.

Melt chocolate with butter; cool slightly. Beat eggs and sugar until light. Add chocolate mixture and stir until smooth. Fold in dry ingredients, the nuts and candy. Transfer to prepared pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist, but not wet, crumbs, 30 to 35 minutes. Cool before cutting into squares.
