1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 large eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder and salt
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup water
2 cups fresh blueberries
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened and cubed

Topping:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp grated lemon rind
2 tbsp butter, softened

Beat butter until creamy; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Combine dry ingredients; stir well. Combine milk and water; stir well.

Add flour mixture to butter alternately wit milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix at low speed after each addition until blended. Gently stir in blueberries and cream cheese. Pour batter into a greased 9 inch square baking pan.

Combine topping ingredients; stir well with a fork. Sprinkle over batter mixture. Bake at 375 for 50 minutes or until golden. Serve warm or at room temperature.
