4 oz butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
4 oz butter

1/2 tsp vanilla
4 oz German sweet chocolate, melted in 1 tbsp water
Cream 4 oz butter with 1/4 cup sugar. Blend in flour. Spread into a buttered 8-inch square pan; bake at 350 for about 20 minutes, until firm and lightly browned around the edges. Combine 4 oz butter, 2 tbsp sugar, condensed milk, and pecans in a small saucepan; cook, stirring, until mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
