1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 clove garlic, minced or 1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp basil
1/4 tsp thyme
1/8 tsp pepper

Combine all ingredients in small bowl. Blend together until smooth and fluffy. Spoon into serving bowl or roll into 12 inch log, 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Cover and refrigerate. Remove from refrigerator 20 to 30 minutes before serving. Serve with breads, vegetables or meats.
