1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (about 4 ripe bananas)
2 large eggs
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Frosting
1 1/4 cups confectioners sugar
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 tbsp honey
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350. Line 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners. In medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Make a well in center of flour mixture. In well, mix together butter, mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Stir to incorporate flour mixture (do not overmix). Dividing evenly, spoon batter into muffin cups. Bake until toothpick inserted comes out clean, about 25 to 30 minutes. Remove cupcakes from pan and cool on wire rack.

In medium bowl, use electric mixer to beat confectioners sugar, 1/2 cup butter at room temperature, honey and ground cinnamon until smooth (about 4 to 5 minutes).

Spread cupcake tops with frosting. Before serving, slice a lime and place one on each cupcake, if desired.
