- 1 can (6.5 ounce size) clams, drained
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
To make homemade clam base, simply puree the drained clams with salt and lemon juice. Use 2 tablespoons of this base for the recipe you're using. Works great in clam chowder and other seafood soup recipes.
