Crusty Tomato and Onion Rolls

Ideal as a summer snack or as a component of a larger lunch these rolls never fail to delight and are simplicity itself to prepare.
You will need for each roll -

Enough thinly sliced tomato to cover the cut surface of the roll.
Sliced onion rings ditto.
Olive Oil.
Basil Leaves.
Sea Salt.

Cut the roll in half and liberally cover with Olive Oil.
Randomly pile on the tomato and onion and scatter the basil leaves and sea salt over all.
Replace the top of the roll and wrap tightly in cling film.
Place the rolls in the fridge and leave for several hours.

Remove, unwrap and think you're in heaven as you bite into your roll.
