Extra-virgin olive oil
1 onion, cut into 1/4-inch dice
2 cloves garlic, smashed and finely chopped(or can use garlic powder)
1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seed oil
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
One 8 ounce can water chestnuts, drained and coarsely chopped
juice of 1/2 large orange
a handful panko bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste.

Cook onions until soft in olive oil
add garlic and cook a little longer (do not brown garlic)

take off heat and add soy, sesame seed oil, pepper flakes, ginger, water chestnuts, and orange juice. Mix and add the panko bread crumbs

Make a small patty and cook to see if seasoning is ok. If not, add more to taste and if not very firm when cooked add a little more panko crumbs. After the trial burger, cook an enjoy.
