Granny’s Banana Nut Cake

2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
4 Tbsp buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
3 mashed bananas
1 cup sugar
Pinch salt
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Add bananas, buttermilk, vanilla, and nuts. Sift all dry ingredients together, then add to the liquid batter. Pour into prepared pans and bake at 350 until done.

Frosting

1/2 cup butter
1 mashed banana
1/2 box powdered sugar (2 cups)
1 cup chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add banana and pecans. Spread on cooled cake.
