Buttermilk Pie

1/3 cup softened butter
1 cup buttermilk
3 beaten eggs
3 Tbsp flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 9-inch pie shell

Cream butter and sugar, add flour and eggs; beat well. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Cool before serving.
