Chocolate Scotcharoo Cookies

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. butterscotch chips
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. Rice Krispies

Combine corn syrup and sugar in large 3 quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture begins to bubble. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter. Add Rice Krispies, stir until well mixed. Press mixture into 9" buttered square cake pan. Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together in double boiler. Remove from heat. Spread mixture entirely over Rice Krispies mixture.
