Easy Bake Oven Chocolate Cake

Preheat the Easy Bake Oven as directed by the manufacturer. Grease the baking pan with non-stick cooking spray, shortening, or butter.

Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix with a fork.

Add the shortening and, using the fork, "cut" the mixture into the flour until it is incorporated.

While stirring, slowly add the milk. If the batter is too dry, add a little additional milk.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and place the dish in the Easy Bake Oven. Bake for 12-14 minutes. When done, use the pan pusher to push the dish into the cooling chamber. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes then remove from the unit.
