Ingredients
1 Gram active dry yeast
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen juice concentrate - any flavor except citrus, thawed
-cold water as needed to top off jug
Directions
Re-hydrate yeast by boiling 1/2 cup juice and 2 Tbl spoons sugar let cool to room temp and add yeast.
Combine 2 1/2 cups sugar to 1 1/4 cups water in pan and boil till sugar is desalved let cool to room temp before adding to jug
2.Combine the yeast, sugar and juice concentrate in a gallon jug. Fill the jug the rest of the way with cold water. put top on jug and fit with airlock.
3.Place jug in a cool dark place. Within a day you will notice the air lock starting to bubble. As the sugar turns to alcohol the gasses released will cause the airlock to bubble.
4.in 2 weeks Rack cider off of the dead yeast cells into another gallon jug
5.Filter through nylon or coffee filter while racking.
6.After 30 days add pottassion sorbate to stop the fermintation.
7.bottle and let set for 2 more weeks
