This is a great light summer dessert.

1 Angel Food Cake
1 Honey Dew Melon
1/2 cup Blueberry or Raspberry Preserves
1/2 cup water
Whipped topping or vanilla yogurt

I used an already baked cake from the grocery.
Cut cake into 1" to 2" cubes
Cut melon into 1" to 2" cubes

Layer cake and melon into a Trifle bowl or individual sundae/parfait dishes, ending with melon on top.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate about an hour, giving the melon time to saturate the cake.
In the microwave (or pan on stovetop) warm preserves with the 1/2 cup water. You can thin down to your taste.

Drizzle over the top of the cake/melon and top with either whipped topping or vanilla yogurt.
This is a light dessert and can be made in just a few minutes. It's also easy on the calories.
