Fettuccini With Ham and Asparagus

1/2 cup sliced green onions
1 4 ounce can sliced mushrooms, drained or fresh
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 8 ounce pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 3/4 cups milk
1 pound fully cooked ham, julienned
1 cup cut fresh asparagus, 3/4 inch pieces, cooked, optional
12 ounces fettuccini, cooked and drained
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook onions and mushrooms in butter until onions are tender. Reduce heat to low and stir in cream cheese and milk.

Cook and stir until cheese is melted. Add ham, asparagus if desired and fettuccini and heat through. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Yields 4 to 6 servings.
