Cheese and Herb Bread
2 1/2 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup warm water, 115 to 120 degrees
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon quick rise yeast
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1/2 to 1 cup shredded mozzarella
In a bowl or in a bread maker, combine the hot water, sugar and
yeast. Let set for a few minutes. Add the flour, salt and oil. Mix
until a soft dough forms, adding a little flour if needed so it isn't
real sticky.
Roll dough out on a large pizza stone that has been oiled. Brush on Italian Salad dressing. Sprinkle herbs and cheeses on top and set in a slightly warm oven for about 30 minutes while it rises.
Bake at 375 to 400 degrees for about 15 minutes or so. Use a pizza cutter to cut up into pieces.
Brush some Italian dressing on top of pizza, Once it is covered, sprinkle these herbs and cheeses all over the pizza and let it rise.
Serves 4 to 6.
