  • 1 1/2 tablespoon chopped jalapenos (canned or fresh)
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 can (14.5 ounce size) diced tomatoes with green chiles
  • 1 can (14.5 ounce size) whole peeled tomatoes, undrained
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar, to taste

Combine the jalapenos and onion in a food processor. Pulse process for 2-3 seconds.

Add the diced tomatoes, whole tomatoes, garlic salt, cumin, and sugar. Pulse process until the salsa is mixed but not pureed. Adjust the seasoning if needed.

Transfer the salsa to a covered container and chill for 1-2 hours before serving.
