  • 2 1/2 pounds chicken wings or drumettes or combination
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 5 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 piece (1 inch size) fresh ginger peeled and grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Place the chicken wings in the crock pot. In a bowl, combine the hoisin sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Mix well then pour over the chicken wings. Gently toss the wings to coat in the sauce (don't toss too much or the sauce will fall off).

Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the chicken is cooked through. Stir before serving. If desired, place the wings on a baking sheet and place under the broiler for a few minutes to brown them before serving.
