Serves/Makes: 1
Ready in: < 30 minutes

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 1 envelope (.13 ounce size) any flavor unsweetened Kool-Aid (the size that makes 2 quarts of beverage)
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup boiling water

Combine the flour, salt, and dry Kool-Aid powder in a heat-safe mixing bowl. Mix well.

Stir the oil and boiling water into the Kool-Aid mixture, stirring until well blended.

Remove the dough from the bowl and place on a work surface (you may want to line the surface with waxed paper or parchment to prevent the Kool-Aid from staining it). Knead the clay until a soft dough forms.

Form the clay into desired shapes or art pieces and let dry.
