Serves/Makes: 2
Ready in: < 30 minutes

  • 1 fully cooked rack baby back ribs
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup seasoned flour
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Purchase fully cooked ribs (the kind you just heat and serve) or cook using your favorite method (there are several methods here on CDKitchen to try).

Preheat a deep fryer to 365 degrees F.

Cut the ribs into individual rib portions. Dip in the buttermilk then coat in the seasoned flour. Shake off any excess flour.

Add the ribs in batches to the deep fryer and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.

Remove from the fryer and let drain for a couple of minutes on paper toweling or brown paper. Serve hot with barbecue sauce for dipping.

You can also do this with boneless ribs.
