Ready in: 2-5 hrs

  • 1 cup shell or elbow macaroni pasta
  • 3/4 cup cubed Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/3 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons cooked and crumbled bacon

Prepare the pasta as directed on the package. Rinse with cold water and drain well.

Place the pasta in a large bowl. Add the cheese, peas, and onion. Mix well.

Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, and salt. Mix well then stir into the pasta mixture. Stir the bacon into the pasta.

Cover the bowl and chill for 4-8 hours before serving. Can be made up to 1 day in advance. Stir before serving, adding additional milk if the pasta is too dry.
