  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 pinch dried tarragon
  • 1 pinch dried dill
  • 1 pinch dried marjoram
  • 1 pinch dried basil
  • 1 pinch dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Combine the vinegar, garlic, black pepper, Dijon, and herbs in a bowl. Mix in the oil with a whisk until blended.

Serve the vinaigrette immediately or refrigerate until serving time (whisk again before serving).
