Ready in: 2-5 hrs
- 2 pounds beef top round steak, cut 1" thick
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
Combine oil, soy sauce, vinegar, honey, garlic powder, ginger and onion. Place steak in plastic bag; add marinade, turning to coat. Tie bag securely and marinate in refrigerator 4 hours, turning at least once. Drain marinade from steak, reserve. Place steak on rack in broiler pan so surface of meat is 3-4" from heat and broil to rare or medium (20-30 minutes), turning and brushing with marinade. Carve steak into thin slices.
