1 onion, chopped
1 lb sliced mushrooms,
2 1/2 lbs round steak, cut into 1 inch squares
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1/4 cup parsley flakes
1 tsp each garlic salt and onion salt
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup water

Heat a skillet with 1 tbsp oil and saute vegetables. Place into a baking dish. Add remaining oil to skillet. Coat meat pieces with flour. Beat eggs and milk in a flat dish. Combine crumbs and next 5 ingredients on a plate. Dip meat into eggs and then roll into crumbs. Brown in skillet a few pieces at a time and place into the baking dish with the sauteed vegetable. Stir water into dripping and heat to boiling, scraping brown bits from pan. Pour over meat. Cover and bake at 325 for 1 1/2 hours.
