Cabbage and noodles
________________________________________
I made this today for the 1st time and I do have to say so myself it was gooo-od

1 head of cabbage
1 small yellow onion
1/2 cup butter or margerine (I used margerine in the tub)
1lb box cooked noodles (I used bow ties)
salt/ pepper to taste

Chop onion and cabbage coarsely like you would to make cole slaw. In a large pan like a dutch oven saute onion and cabbage and butter. You are going to saute this, and let it cook on medium heat stirring every so often so it does not burn. This takes about an hour actually because it will reduce to half. While this is cooking, cook the noodles. Once the cabbage mixture has reduced, add the cooked noodles. You may want to add a little more butter at this time, and the salt and pepper. Fold noodles over cabbage mixture until it is all combined. Serve hot.
