2 1/4 cup shortening
3 tsp salt
3 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp allspice
Add and cream well:
4 1/2 cup brown sugar
Add and mix thoroughly:
6 eggs, well beaten
Stir in:
5 cups rolled oats
4 1/2 cup raisins
Sift and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk:
3 tsp baking soda
4 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
Drop by tsp on ungreased toast pan. Bake at 350 F for 12 to 15 minutes.
