Makes 18 biscuits

2 cup flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup milk

Sift dry ingredients into bowl. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Stir in milk. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 450 F for 10-12 minutes or until light brown.
