Serves 4-6

1 lb ground beef
10 3/4 oz can cream of mushroom soup, divided
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup fine bread crumbs
2 Tbsp fresh parsley
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 cup potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed
1/4 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese

Mix beef, 1/2 cup soup, onion, egg, bread crumbs, parsley and seasonings. Press firmly into an un-greased 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes; drain. Layer potatoes, remaining soup and cheese. Bake an additional 10 minutes; cut into wedges to serve.
