2 eggs, beaten2 cup milk
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 1/2 cup (about) flour
oil for frying
confectioners' sugar

Beat eggs with milk in bowl. Add sifted salt and baking powder; mix well. Add enough flour to make thin batter.
Heat 1/2-1 inch oil in saucepan. Pour batter into funnel, closing opening with finger. Drizzle in spiral into hot oil. Fry until crisp and brown. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
