Grated rind and juice of 2 oranges
3 cups sugar
1 Tbsp flour
1 cup milk
2 Tbsp butter
4 cups pecans
cut orange rind into thin slivers. Combine with sugar, flour, milk and orange juice. Cook to 290 on candy thermometer, soft ball stage; remove from heat. Stir in butter. Add pecans; beat until creamy. Spoon onto waxed paper; separate pecans. Store in airtight containers with waxed paper between layers.
