This is so Good~I Promise!
1 1/2 to 2 lbs beef stew meat .. Brown in 1 TBS Olive oil to which you add 3 Crushed Garlic Cloves. Brown Slowly.
Chop and Drop In to A lightly Greased 13 x 9 Glass bakeware::
3 Carrots
3 Celery stalks with Leaves for flavor
1/2 sweet tater peeled sliced
2 large russets peeled and quartered
1 jalapeno seeds removed ~ wash hands carefully!
1 White Onion left in Rings, its all in the presentation!
1/2 TBSP thyme leaves
1 BAY LEAF
in a Glass bowl heat 1/2 cup water with 1 Beef boullion cube. Stir in 1 CAN cream of mushroom soup, 1 TBSP worchestershire sauce, a 1/2 cup red wine, fresh grinds of Black Pepper and 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning.
To your vegies add the browned beef, pour over the soup mixture and give a quick stir around... Then add 1 can cream of Celery soup over the top and tightly cover w/ foil and place in center of oven -at- 250 for 5 hours.
It'll be ready for supper when you get home!
serve over polenta or w/ biscuits.. tonight it's cornbread muffins and butter and honey for me!
