Makes 36 servings.

1/2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. milk
1 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. powdered sugar

Line an 8-inch square pan with plastic wrap; set aside.
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat; stir in brown sugar and milk.
Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes, stirring frequently; remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter and vanilla; pour over powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl.
Beat until smooth; pour into pan.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm; cut into squares.
