Serves/Makes: 12
Ready in: < 30 minutes
- 1 can (12-count size) refrigerated bread stick dough
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoon pizza seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 ounces prepared pizza sauce, warmed
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a large baking sheet. Unroll the breadstick dough and separate it into sections along the perforations. Cut each breadstick in half. Place the bread stick pieces 1-inch apart on the greased baking sheet. Brush the breadstick with the melted butter. Sprinkle the pizza seasoning evenly over the breadsticks. Place the breadsticks in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 11-17 minutes or until golden brown. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the breadsticks with the mozzarella (try not to get much on the baking sheet or it may burn). Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 2-3 more minutes or until the cheese melts. Serve the pizza dippers hot with warm pizza sauce, for dipping.
