  • 1 cup uncooked long grain white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 ounce size) condensed French onion soup
  • 1 can (10.5 ounce size) beef broth
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, thinly sliced

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Combine the rice, French onion soup, and beef broth and place in a 9x9 baking dish. Top the rice mixture with the sliced butter.

Cover the baking dish with foil and place in the oven. Bake at 425 degrees F for 30 minutes. Remove the foil, gently stir the rice and continue to bake for 30 more minutes or until the rice has absorbed the liquid and is tender.

Serve hot.
