1 stick margarine, softened
1/2 cup Crisco
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1/2 tsp soda
1 cup buttermilk
3 cups plain flour
1/8 tsp salt
2 teaspoons lemon flavoring
1 teaspoon almond flavoring

Cream margarine and Crisco; gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed.

Add eggs one at a time beating after each addition.

Dissolve soda in Buttermilk.

Combine flour and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour.

Stir in flavorings.

Pour batter into a greased and floured 10" tube pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F. for one hour and five to ten minutes.

Remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.

Note: Cake may also be baked in two loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45-50 minutes.
