Serves/Makes: 6
Ready in: < 30 minutes
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Have an ungreased baking sheet ready. In a large bowl, beat together the baking mix, milk, and cheese until the mixture forms a soft dough. Drop the dough in about 1/4-cup size dollops onto the ungreased baking sheet. Do not place them too close together. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake at 450 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Mix together the melted butter and garlic powder. Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Brush the tops of the biscuits with the garlic butter then serve while they are still warm. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature or up to 2 days.
