2 lb. ground meat loaf mix (veal, pork, beef)
1/2 cup pine nuts
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
4 tsp tandoori spice mix
2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 cup ice water
2 medium onions, sliced (1/2 inch)

Heat grill. In large bowl, stir together ground meat, pine nuts, cilantro, tandoori spice mix and salt; stir in ice water. Divide meat mixture into 6 pieces. Shape each piece into 5 inch oval patty. Place patties and onions on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inch from medium coals.

Grill 10 minutes or until centers of patties are no longer pink and onions are crisp-tender and slightly charred, turning once. Serve patties topped with onions. Serves 6
