4 (6 oz) center-cut pork chops
1 tbsp oil
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
¼ cup dry red wine and water
1 clove garlic, minced
1 small onion, sliced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp salt and pepper
1 (8 oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
1 green bell pepper, sliced
Mozzarella cheese slices
Brown chops in oil in a skillet. Drain and remove from skillet. Add remaining ingredients, stirring to combine. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes or until chops are tender. Top each chop with a cheese slice; cover until melted. NOTE: Good served over rice.
