1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
1/3 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup plain flour
1/2 cup sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
1/8 tsp salt
2 cup milk, scalded
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla

Blend peanut butter with powdered sugar until mealy. Sprinkle 2/3 of mixture over baked pie shell.

Combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar and salt in top of double boiler or cook in microwave. Stir in scalded milk; cook until thick. Stir a small amount of cooked filling into the egg yolks. Combine and cook several minutes longer. Add vanilla. Allow to cool slightly before pouring into pie shell.

Top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle the remaining peanut butter and powdered sugar mixture over the top. Chill and serve.
