1 pkg frozen puff pastry shells, baked according to pkg directions
1 (2 lb) boneless sirloin or top round steak, 3/4 inch thick, sliced into very thin strips
Flour, seasoned with salt and pepper
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 medium onion, chopped
1/8 tsp garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves, crushed
2 bay leaves
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 jar beef gravy
1/2 cup sour cream

In a medium skillet, heat half the oil. Toss meat with seasoned flour mixture and cook the beef in 2 batches and cook until browned, stirring often. Set aside.

Reduce heat and add remaining oil. Add mushrooms, onions, garlic powder and thyme, bay leaves and Worcestershire sauce; cook until tender. Add gravy. Heat to boil. Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream. Return beef to pan and heat through. Remove bay leaves. Serve in pastry shells. Serves 6
