12 oysters on the half shell
1 tbsp vegetable oil
3 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp ground red pepper
Preheat broiler. Place oysters on a baking sheet; set aside. Heat oil in a small skillet over medium-high heat. Saute green onions in hot oil until tender. Add breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, black and red pepper, stirring well. Spoon breadcrumbs mixture over oysters. Broil 5 1/2 inches from heat 2 minutes or until golden. Serve immediately.
