6 tbsp amaretto
4 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup milk
12 slices French bread
Amaretto butter
Amaretto syrup
In a shallow bowl, mix first 3 ingredients. Soak bread in mixture. In a skillet, melt some butter. Drain bread and cook in skillet until both sides are golden. Serve immediately with amaretto butter and amaretto syrup.
NOTE: Substitute Irish Cream for Amaretto.
