1/2 cup butter and packed brown sugar
10 oz apricot preserves
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
2 2/3 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in preserves, milk and eggs. Add combined dry ingredients, mixing just until moistened. Stir in nuts. Spoon into greased and floured medium-sized muffin pans, filling each cup 2/3rds full. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned.
