Mix together for a Garlic Spread
2 tbsp butter, softened
1/2 tsp garlic powder and paprika

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1/3 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp dried oregano and fennel seed, crushed
6-8 hamburger buns
6-8 slices mozzarella cheese

Make the garlic spread and set aside. Brown meat and drain. Simmer for 20 minutes. Split buns and spread 1 tsp garlic spread on each bun. Divide meat mixture evenly on bun bottoms. Top meat mixture with cheese slices. Top with bun top. Wrap each sandwich in foil. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until heated through.

I've tried many recipes, this is the best. I once 'dec-tupled' (10x) this recipe to sell sandwiches at a craft fair at my church. People were waiting in line to buy leftovers. Freezes well, goes up
