Serves/Makes: 15
Ready in: 2-5 hrs
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 3 1/4 cups bread flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons active dry yeast
- melted butter, as needed
Combine all the ingredients except the melted butter in your bread machine in the order recommended by the machine manufacturer. Select the dough cycle. When the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough from the machine and set on a lightly floured work surface. Grease a baking sheet. Divide the dough into 15 pieces and form each piece into a round ball. Place each roll 2-inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each lightly with melted butter. Cover the rolls lightly with a towel or plastic wrap that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Let the rolls rise for 30-40 minutes or until doubled in size. While the dough is rising, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. When the rolls are ready, place them in the oven and bake at 375 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove the rolls from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. Store the rolls in an airtight container.
