Baked Ham Steak With Brown Sugar Glaze

- 2 pounds ham steak, 1 to 2 inches thick
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Place the ham steak on a rimmed baking sheet or in a shallow baking dish. Combine the brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, and cloves in a bowl and mix until the sugar is mostly dissolved. Spread the glaze over the ham steak. Place the ham in the oven and bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until heated through. Remove the ham from the oven and serve immediately.
