Simple Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

- 1 cup peanut butter, creamy or crunchy
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 pinch baking powder
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, or other flavor chips
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Combine the peanut butter, egg, sugar, baking powder, and chocolate chips in a bowl and mix until combined. Drop the cookie dough by teaspoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake at 325 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool on the sheet for 2 minutes. Carefully remove the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies from the baking sheet and set on a wire rack to cool completely. Store the cookies in an airtight container.
