1 1/2 lbs cooked angel hair pasta or thin spaghetti
1 1/4 lbs extra lean ground beef
23 oz marinara sauce
10 slices mozzarella cheese
8 slices American cheese
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 Tbsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp black pepper
Cooking spray
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a large casserole dish (at least 2 1/2 quarts) with cooking spray.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Cook the ground beef until completely browned, drain if necessary, then stir in the onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper.
3. Place half of the pasta in the greased casserole dish, top with half of the cheese slices, then half of the sauce. Spread the sauce evenly. Repeat with another layer. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
4. After 10 minutes, remove the casserole dish from the oven, uncover and stir well. Recover and place back in the oven for a least 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
