Curried Split Pea And Rice Soup

- 2 cups dried split peas, rinsed
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 large carrots, peeled and diced
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
Combine all the ingredients in the crock pot and mix well to combine. Cover the crock pot and cook on high heat for 4 hours or until the vegetables and rice are tender.
