Why not? It's a great side dish for burgers or sandwiches that's a little bit healthier than the traditional French Fries or Onion Rings.

Category: Veggies
Prep Time:       Cook Time:       Total Time:

1 large bag frozen French baby green beans, defrosted
Flour
Salt & Pepper
Oil for frying

Heat the oil in a pan suitable for deep frying or in a deep-fryer. I use a large saucepan and fill it slightly less than half-way.

While the oil is heating, pat dry the green beans. Then lightly season with salt & pepper. Finally place them in a large (gallon sized) zip-top storage bag or other receptacle to shake them with about a cup or so of all-purpose flour. Zip; shake to coat. When the oil is completely hot, fry small handfuls of the green beans at a time so as to avoid over-crowding. Drain on towels. Serve warm. These go well with dipping sauces such as ketchup or ranch dip, even sour cream, or they stand alone just fine.
